Anti-Japan Comfort Women Scam continues to pick up speed
(A quick, unedited note. Please excuse any grammatical errors.)
This has been building for decades. Predication: unless Japan proactively and effectively fights back, this eventually will explode.
Americans and Australians will be scratching their heads wondering whatever happened to our alliance with Japan -- as is happening now with Thailand. China will be smiling with quiet satisfaction.
A massive and deeply funded information operation is underway to split our alliance with Japan. It is working.
I ask that longtime readers consider a few items -- each time I have warned about something big, the proclamations often sounded pie-in-the-sky at the time. But each time, in cases such as with Iraq, Afghanistan, Generals Menard and McChrystal, Thailand, and more, my record of doing homework before speaking is clear.
I often was on major television and radio programs saying we were losing the Afghanistan war, even when it was common knowledge that we already won. (2006.) Now look. A person can learn by going places.
Most writers/journalists/analysts do little more than read reams of other stories, and they create meta-narratives based on a few pack leaders.
Too many of those pack leaders turn out to be people like Brian Williams. They do not know squat. They live and work in places like New York, parachute in, make a few pictures, then publish what they do not know.
Big and powerful people from various countries read my work not because they like me, but because they know I go places and do real homework. (Back to Japan this week, then back to Philippines, and to Australia, all researching this Japan issue.)
I just spent the entire year of 2014 warning America that our relationship with Thailand was on the verge of meltdown. Now is 2015. The meltdown is occurring. I write these words from Chiang Mai, Thailand. I saw the whole thing unfold.
Thailand is turning its back on us. We, the United States, caused this. Now we are blaming Thailand. The US is part of Thailand's problem, not part of the solution. Thais can see this. Americans who live here and pay attention can see this.
Relations between normal Thais and normal Americans is extremely good. Even the current Thai government would be open to our government if we simply stop interfering with Thai internal matters. Thailand must settle matters in a Thai way.
Thais notice that we snuggle up and treat the terrorist state of Saudi Arabia as a close friend. Everyone sees this.
Thais notice when we snub Thailand in front of the entire globe, even though Americans are incredibly welcome here.
Americans are not welcome in Saudi Arabia. An American can fly to Bangkok today, wearing an "I hate Thailand" t-shirt, and he will be allowed into the country with no problems.
Most Americans will not be allowed to step foot into Saudi Arabia. They hate us, but love our guns and the blood we spend to protect them -- of course this is not about the Saudis, but their various resources.
The Saudis treat our Soldiers and people as expendable trash. The Thais welcome and respect our Soldiers and citizens.
Yet our government kisses Saudi feet and insults Thailand.
Please mark this the calendar: unless we change the way we treat Japan, and treat Japan like the honored and highly respected ally that Japan is, Japan will grow cold. And we will blame it on Japan, just as we blame Thailand.
This sex-slave issue is manufactured. US citizens and government officials are swallowing this poison Chinese bait.
This is a big fraud used to split our alliances. Divide then conquer.

Mr. Yon:

You are right. Americans have a great talent of mis-identifying their friend and enemy.

Before the war, the U.S. people were fooled by Edgar Snow and cooperated with Stalin and Chiang Kai-suk, and destroyed Japan.

Stalin is no better than Hitler and Chiang Kai-suk is the barbarian and liar. General Mountbatten called him a barbarian and insisted to kill him before the war ends or the U.S. would lose the entire China. He warning was right.

Should the U.S kept Japan on their side, Mao’s Red Army had no chance to rise to the power.

It is the most serious blunder of all for the U. S. As the result, the U.S. had to engage the Korean War and the Vietnam War and lost many young people.

In 1990s, Clinton Administration believed Japan’s economic power was more of the threat than Soviet Russia’s military might and kept bashing Japan. While the Clinton Administration indulged in Japan-bashing, China emerged as the threat to the entire East Asia and the World. The U. S. had made a serious blunder, again.

China is a treacherous country and Chinese are the treacherous people.

I recommend you to read “Ways That Are Dark” written by Ralph Townsend for better understanding of China. I am currently reading the Japanese translation of the book and it looks great.

Many american people are kind people.

They tend to sympathize with the person who is in trouble. So they are deceived by Korean lie.

We have said "Korea lies about comfort women".

But American people believe the korean people who are crying in front of them....

Japan’s ancient scroll called Shoku-nihongi(続日本紀)records the following event that happened in September,760 a.d.

Our minister Emi-no-asakari (恵美朝狩) expelled the arriving Korean envoy declaring, “Your country lacks courtesy and manners. Even the prince tells a lie. How can I believe what a lowly man such as you says to me? Come back after your country is complete with courtesy and manners.”

The letters below are the original text.

The phrase “Even the prince tells a lie” still applies today. Kim Jong-il broke his promise of not continuing the nuclear missile development many times. Hillary Clinton was deceived again and again. South Koreans accuse Japan with fantasy propaganda of forced recruitment of comfort women.

This total lack of courtesy and manners also applies to China. It is well known that Chinese pee and poop in public places. China is the world’s major polluter of air and water. China sells machine-guns, mines, grenades to despots in North Africa. They brag about their military might and scare the weaker nations in Southeast Asia. The goal of the CCP is world domination under which China behaves like an emperor looking down upon other nations as vassal states.

How can I respect such DIRTY PIG!

Mr.Yon,
Do you think this sex slave propaganda influence will increase in strength ? I think We Japanese came to the point to agree...
" Yes, there were comfort women, who made a lot of money. Yes, some of them were deceived by parent (s), friend(s), recruiter to work at some kind of factory.
Even deceived by Japanese imperial army and police but Koreans were Japanese at that time. "

Japanese army involved with recruiting comfort women.
To Not to Korean Japanese kidnap their people and minors . Because they had often sold young girls for money. Korea had been bringing young girls as tribute to China for a long time. Even the name of Chosen ( Korea ) means a country could only a few bringing tribute. because Chosen was such a poor dependency country to China.

I truly appreciate what you are doing for us, for the world for better tomorrow.
I honest to god, will admit if the tragic comfort women story was real.
Too much lies, we all hate lies.
We mostly are angry with our own government for betrayed us for too long time. And did not fight to protect us or war dead heroes. The war heroes already had been destroyed their honor.

Thank you, we can't say enough...

Does North Korea make the same claims, or is it just the South?

It would be very interesting to find out the answer to that one.

It is also interesting that a U.S. report made at the end of WW2 found that the so called 'comfort women' were not forced and offered their 'services' freely. I saw a copy of this report somewhere, but can't provide a reference to it (maybe it was 'Texas daddy' on you tube?)

Another point worth investigating is that Japan paid millions of compensation with an apology to the comfort women, yet these funds were kept by the South Korean Government. I don't know how true this is, but I would like to learn if it is or not.

In relation to my previous post re the compensation paid to Korea - I see on a post you made in January that you have in fact found this piece of information already: http://michaelyonjp.blogspot.com.au/2015/01/blog-post_29.html

That is the problem with blogs - one starts reading the newer posts before the older ones :-)
