"Some thoughts on the Kurdish Situation"

今起こっているクルド人についての世間の見方ですが、「世界の警察」が “問題はご近所同士で解決してください”、と言っていることへの反応です。

最初に断っておきますが，私はクルド人の味方でもありませんし，ここ何年もクルドの地域には足を踏み入れていません。私は世間の報道を信用しません。マスコミの報道もトルコ，ロシア，アメリカなど，どの国の報道も、です。

だから2004年にイラクに行ったのも、自分の目で確かめたかったからなのです。

「クルド人の置かれている状況」について強い懸念を示している人が多いようです。そういう人は次のことを自分自身に問うてみてください。

１）世界地図で「クルド人」の居住地域がどこか すぐにわかるか

２）クルド人は何語を話しているか

３）自分の知識がどこから来て、どの程度のものか わかっているのか

クルド人問題、これは複雑です。混乱しているところはどこでも「複雑」です。平和な所も同じように複雑ではあるが，それでも平和です。

ヨーロッパは中東に比べたらもっと複雑です。カリフォルニアもその点では人後に落ちません。(これはカリフォルニアを皮肉って誇張しているわけではありません。事実です。)

忘れないでください。パックスアメリカーナ(アメリカの平和)で米軍と同盟軍が長年駐留するまで、ヨーロッパは中東よりもはるかに酷い状態でした。単純化し過ぎに聞こえるでしょうが、当たるとも遠からずです。

詳しい説明は長くなりますので、事の本質をかいつまんで言うと

１）アメリカが クルド人を裏切った と言うが、我々とクルド人にはサダム・フセインを敵とする、などの様々な共通の利益がありました。

そして、クルド人が山で凍死しかけていたときには、米軍の第10特殊部隊が救出しました。その特殊部隊はクルド人に好意的です。もちろん私もです。

しかし米軍がクルド軍と一体でないと、クルド人を裏切ったことになるのでしょうか。

大枠の「クルド人」という民族は、イラク、トルコ、シリア、イランだけでなく世界中、テネシー，ロンドン，ドイツ，タイ、などに2500万人が散らばっています。

中には 過激な共産主義者もいますし、米国やトルコなどからテロリスト認定されているクルド人もいます。全てのクルド人の頭に合う 「帽子」は ありません。

２）ISISは共通の敵です。アルカイーダもしかり。クルド人のなかにはアルカイーダに参加した者もいます。興味深い話がいろいろあるのです。

フランスやドイツ，ベルギー，オランダなど，ヨーロッパの多くはISISのようなグループについての心配はしています。しかしポーランド，チェコ，スロバキア，ハンガリーは違います。 いわゆる政治的正義のポリコレに縛られて国益を損ねる、ようなことをせず「国境の壁」を作り自国を守っています。基本的に、自らの生活圏である「水槽」を第一に考えているのです。

米軍撤退についてヨーロッパの報道機関が文句をいっていますが、ヨーロッパ各国の軍と若者たちは，のんびりディスコで踊ったり，スキーをしたり，浜辺で肌を焼いています。何故 クルド人とともに戦おうとしないのでしょうか？

結局のところ，クルド人難民は ISIS同調者も一緒に、ヨーロッパの国々に雪崩を打って押し寄せています。それらの国々は自国の安全保障も充分 果たさず、ましてや国境を防衛することもしていません。それなのに何故 アメリカ軍がクルド人とヨーロッパのために血を流さなければならないのでしょうか？

はっきりさせましょう。私はクルドの独立と主権に反対するものではありません。だがポーランド人だったらこう言うでしょう。

「悪魔は あらゆる細部に潜んでいる」

クルド人の独立は、どうやって，具体的に成し遂げるのでしょう。いったい計画はあるのでしょうか。両親の払う税金をつかってクルド人独立のために戦いに行くヨーロッパの若者は，いったいどこにいるのでしょうか。

一方 「クルド人」は、自治国家を目指して戦っていながらクルド人同士殺し合っています。何のために努力しているのか？

私自身は、今まで出会ったことのあるクルド人達に好感を持っています。だが、クルド人は無垢な犠牲者である、という呪いにはかかっていません。私の知っているクルド人の一人はデュース４部隊の通訳でしたが、後に、アルカイダの同調者であったことが判明しました。 

はっきりと敵か味方か、判然としない、そしてアメリカを売る者もいるのが現実です。

世界で一番 寛大に、時間，自国民の生命、自国の税金などを他国に注いでいる国なのに、アメリカはしばしば 反対の評価を下されます。

クルド人の問題は永遠に続きます。現在 米国の血と富は、ISISとの戦いとクルド人を守るために注がれていますが、一方でこの問題でもっとも被害を被るのはアメリカでははなくヨーロッパと中東の国々です。

アメリカは自給自足できますし、ヨーロッパや中東と比べればテロリストの割合が低い国なのです。

これは世界的な利害が深く絡んでいて単純な問題ではないことは分かっています。だが、或いは、ひょっとして 単純なのでしょうか？

世界中から色々なメッセージが届きます。インドのナガ族から彼らの止むことの無い戦いについてメールが来ました。 ナガ族は彼らの苦境を取り上げてほしいのです。他にも、カシミールからのメッセージなどもあります。私は香港に居ますが，今、中国人民軍のヘリが，ここ何時間もヴィクトリア・ハーバーの上空を上へ下へと旋回しています。

クルド人問題に関してですが、ドイツ連邦国防軍はどこにいるのでしょうか。浜辺やスキー場や酒場で遊んでいる若者を、自国を防衛する英雄にさせるべきです。米国が米国の若者の生命と税金を注いで行ってきたことを自国がするのです。

いずれにしろ，以上は大雑把な論考です。 私は今、香港にいます。香港では反乱が巻き起こっています。香港人が香港の為に身の安全を犠牲にして戦っているのです。連絡の電話も入り、もっと取材を続けなければなりません。

私はクルド人の身に起こっていることに深い悲しみを覚えますし，我々皆がクルド人に寄り添うことを望んでいます。

 しかし 「悪魔は 細部に潜み」、ヨーロッパ人はビーチで遊んでいます。

Some thoughts on the Kurdish Situation: and this is how it looks when “World Police” let the neighborhood sort itself

Firstly, I am not with the Kurds and have not been in the Kurdish region for years. I do not trust media reports, government reports — whether that be Turkish, Russian, American, anyone. That’s partly why I went to Iraq in 2004.

Many voices are issuing strong statements about “the Kurdish situation.” Those issuing strong statements should ask themselves:

1) Can I honestly quickly point to a globe and show the “Kurdish region”?

2) Do I actually know what language(s) they speak?

3) Do I REALLY know what I am talking about?

This is complex. Well, every place that is a mess is called “complex.”

Peaceful places are just as complex, but peaceful.

The Middle East is probably far less complex than Europe, or maybe even California for that matter. (Not too much exaggeration with the California quip.)

Remember, Europe was as “complex” as the Middle East until Pax Americana settled in. Europe was far WORSE than the Middle East ever has been until the US Military and other presence stayed there for generations. That’s just the facts — dangerously simplified, but not to the point of inaccuracy.

This could go on for many thousands of words. Let’s boil it down to the salt:

1) How exactly have we betrayed the Kurds? We’ve had mutual interests on various fronts such as with Saddam. And remember when the Kurds were freezing in the mountains — my friends from 10th Special Forces were sent to help. Our Special Forces generally like the Kurds very much. So do I. But are we betraying “the Kurds” by not being the Kurdish Army?

“The Kurds” is a big word encompassing about 25 million people spread around the world, including in Tennessee, London, Germany, Thailand, not to mention Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Iran, and more.

Some Kurds are hardcore communists. Some are considered terrorists by the US government, and by others, including Turkey. This could go for pages. There is no hat that fits all Kurds.

2) ISIS is our common enemy. Another is al Qaeda. Some Kurds joined with al Qaeda. Some interesting long stories there...

Most of Europe also has concerns about groups like ISIS. France and Germany. Belgium. Netherlands. Not Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary — those countries are smart enough and not self-hobbled by Poinsonous Correctness. They “built that wall”. Basically, they mind the aquarium.

While European press cackles again, why are European Armies and young people not with the Kurds in vast numbers instead of in the discos and on the ski slopes or tanning on beaches? Ruck up or shut up.

After all, Kurdish refugees — and ISIS-types— flood straight to European countries. Many of those countries do not meet their own defense obligations even within their own borders. Why is it exactly that Team America should be the Kurdish and European Armies?

To be clear, I am not against a Kurdish homeland and sovereignty , but as Polish might say, “Devil is in the details.” How? Exactly? What is the plan? Where are the European youth who will go make it happen on their parents’ taxes?

Meanwhile, “the Kurds” variously hobble their own efforts. They waged their own civil war. Killing each other while fighting for autonomy.

On whole, I like Kurds I met — yet one turned out to be an al Qaeda sympathizer (Deuce Four translator) — but am under no spell that Kurds are perpetual innocent victims. The field is not neatly divided into green and red jerseys, and bad sell-out Americans.

Amazing that the most generous country in the world — generous with time, blood, gold, and more — is often labled opposite.

The Kurdish problem is perpetual. US blood and gold is being used to safeguard Kurds and fight ISIS when the biggest losers are NOT Americans, but Europeans and the Middle Eastern countries. America has interests there but we have energy and food security, and far fewer ISIS (etc.) risks than do European and Middle Eastern countries.

I realize fully that we have global interests and this is not amazingly simple. Or, is it? I got messages today about the perpetual Naga fight in India. Nagas want attention for their plight. Other messages come in about fights in Kashmir, etc. I am in Hong Kong and what appears to be a Chinese military helicopter(s) has been flying up and down Victoria Harbor for hours.

As for the Kurds, where is the Bundeswehr? Get off the beaches. Get off the ski slopes. Get out of the bars. Get out to protect your countries and be the heroes that is demanded of American young people and citizens who pay the bills.

Anyway, these thoughts are roughs: I am in Hong Kong where an insurgency is unfolding. The phone is ringing and there is much to see here.

I am very saddened by what is happening with Kurds and wish that we and others would bind together with Kurds, but the devil is in details and Europe is on the beach.

１）ＣＪ　グリシャム（元軍事ブロガー）（彼は後に有罪判決を受けました。戦闘での武勇伝を自慢げに吹聴していましたが，その嘘も暴きました ＜盗まれた武勲，Stolen Valor＞）

２）ブラックファイブ（Black Five，米国の軍事ブログサイト）（このサイトは打ち切られました。恥ずかしくなったのでしょう。）

３）カール・プリン（記者，レポーター，軍関連の記事のブロガー） 人気者のカール 、彼は嘘の記事を書きました。ジャーナリストとしては失格です。彼は私を訴えると脅してきました。裁判の間，彼の欺瞞を一つ一つ暴いてシリーズにしようと待ち構えています。この裁判はニュースになることでしょう。

４）アンドリュー・マグレガー・マーシャル（元ロイターの記者，ブロガー）：素行の問題と薬物乱用で１７年間 働いたロイターを解雇されました（正確には首になる直前に辞職）。後に戦闘のレポートで嘘をついていたことがバレました。

５）ディビッド・フォックス（元ロイターの戦争特派員，ブロガー）：心ないジョーク（東日本大震災時の原発事故に関連）を飛ばしたことで２３年勤めたロイターを首になり，後にインドネシアで薬物事件で捕まり刑務所行きとなりました。

電子メール会議室のウォーロードループ（Warlord Loop，戦争に関する会員制メーリングリスト）などは，私が彼らの意に沿ったことを言わないので私を除名しました・・・ しかしなんということか、私の発信が彼らをリードしているのが時の流れです。

他の、戦争に関するブロガーの電子メール会議室は，私が「女性は歩兵部隊に居るべきではない」と発言したことを理由に私を除名しました。酷く怒り狂っていました。議論が激しすぎて制御するコンピュータが一時停止したほどです。

レッド スター ライジングという全体主義に反対するはずのサイトでは 議論しているうちに彼ら自身が全体主義(的)になってしまいました。

端的に言って私はどの軍事ブロガーよりも戦争・紛争・実際の戦闘現場を体験し取材してきたので，彼らにとって私の言葉 (いつも後から驚くほど正確であると判明する)が、不愉快過ぎて誰も私の横に並ぼうとはしません。だからこれからも私は孤高の人でやっていくことでしょう。

I am surprised I am even nominated for any of this. I am pretty much PNG (persona non grata) from any of these sorts of military sites/awards. My voltage is far, far too high and none wish to be seen standing next to me -- largely because I will not be seen next to them.

All this meltdown began when I started saying two favorite generals should be fired. Both were fired.

This, and many other things such as calling out several military blogs and bloggers as frauds:

1) CJ Grisham (who later became convicted criminal, wa also caught in Stolen Valor among other items)

2) Black Five (so busted it was embarrassing)

3) Carl Prine -- everybody's favorite -- caught in journalistic fraud, the equivalent of journalistic stolen valor. He threaten's to sue me. I cannot wait. Will make a great series while I expose his bullshit step by step during the case that surely will make the news.

4) Andrew MacGregor Marshall: fired from Reuters after 17 years due to behavioral issues and substance abuse (resigned at last minute), later caught lying about war reporting.

5) David Fox: fired from Reuters after 23 years for general scummery, later busted In Indonesian drug sting and sent to prison.

Echo chambers such as the War Lord Loop kicked me off for not echoing the right tunes...but, amazingly, my dispatches continue to lead the pack on withstanding test of time.

Another mil blogger echo chamber kicked me off for saying women should not be in US infantry outfits. They went crazy. PC shatters in combat.

Yet another, Red Star Rising, supposedly against totalitarians, went total totalitarian and did similar.

In short, I do more time in war, conflict, and actual combat that any of the mil bloggers seem to be able to loft up, and my words make them so uncomfortable -- but turn out amazingly accurate -- that nobody wants to stand beside me, so I stand alone from them all and will continue as such.

香港警察は 14 歳の少年に銃を発砲した上、彼を逮捕しました 。この話にはもちろん続きがあります。事件を調べれば調べるほど、香港政府が市民の暴力的な反乱を引き起こす条件をつくっていることがわかってきます。

既に政府は香港の人々に「政府の味方になるか、敵になるか」どちらかを選べと言う意味のことを言っています。
香港政府は市民戦争のお膳立てをしているのです。

ここに記録しておきます：内乱の条件は揃った。

警察は今や香港警察ではなく、北京政府の支配下での占領軍と見なされています。

反乱の初期状態で、今朝は弱火ですが、 政府の次々と突きつける条件によって広範囲にわたる破壊行為や殺人やら諸々の騒動が始まります。

内戦の気配が濃厚です。
市民は警察から支配権を奪取するでしょう。
見ていてください。

Hong Kong Police shoot 14 year-old boy then arrest him — you are probably thinking there must be more to the story. There is. The deeper you dig, the more you realize the Hong Kong government is setting conditions for violent insurgency.

The government already has told Hong Kongers the equivalent of “you are either with us or against us.” The government has set the table for civil war.

Write this down: conditions for civil war are set.

The police are now widely seen as illegitimate and the equivalent of an occupying force under Beijing’s control.

All conditions are set for kickoff from low grade insurgency that simmers this morning, to widespread sabotage, and to assassinations and so on and so forth.

War is in the air. The people will begin to take control from police. Write that down.

カリフォルニア州、グレンデール市 :  繰り返される「慰安婦」ペテンの刷り込み

中国-韓国関係の情報キャンペーンを行なっている詐欺師の手口には、あたかも自らが迫害をうけているかのように見せかける自作自演も含まれます。像が建立された後、ささいな「破壊行為」や攻撃があったという記事を愚かな新聞社が何度も何度も、あたかも像を巡って小さな戦争でもおこっているかのような錯覚に皆が陥るまで何度でも繰り返し掲載します。

これは基本的には論点をすり替える藁人形作戦ですが、慰安婦像が生きている被害者のように錯覚させるのは偽旗作戦とも言えます。

「偽旗作戦」ー 多くの米国人、タイ人、香港人、日本人、その他もふくめて、「偽旗作戦」という名称は馴染みがないでしょう。その意味は、もちろん、ただ単に偽の旗を振るというわけではありません。

偽旗作戦は、例えば中国人や韓国人の工作員が日本人や香港人のふりをして犯罪を犯し、日本人や香港人が非難されるようにする、ということです。こうした事案が常に発生していることは分かっていますが、実際、どれが偽旗作戦の案件なのかを見分けるのは非常に難しい。

米国にはびこる偽旗作戦は、たとえば特定の人種の悪口を殴り書きしたり、白人に攻撃されたふりをしたり、放火事件を「白人至上主義者」によるものであると決めつけたりーこんなことは日常茶飯事で、いつも誰かが逮捕されています。

まったく酷い話ですがドイツはポーランドで偽旗作戦を行い、口実を作ってからポーランドを侵略しました。

偽旗作戦は常に実行されていることを我々は知っており、これらの慰安婦像が大規模な情報戦の一部であることに気づいている賢明なひとも少なからずいます。

添付の記事のビデオを注意して見てください。このペテンの像のためだけに暗視用赤外線カメラが設置されているのは不思議だとは思いませんか？ 

ところでまさにこの場所を訪れたことがあります。その時、韓国人のペテン師が例の捏造慰安婦物語を吹聴していました。

After statues are installed, expect silly newspaper articles about trivial "vandalism" or attacks, and then those articles are repeated, repeated, repeatedly repeated, until it looks like a little statue war is going on.

Basically a version of straw man argument brought to live with statues, likely with a dash of false flag.

Many Americans, Thais, Hong Kongers, Japanese, and others, are unfamiliar with the term "false flag." You know what it is, just not the term "false flag."

A false flag is when, say, a Chinese or Korean operative pretends to be a Japanese or Hong Konger, commits a crime, and the Japanese or Hong Kongers get the blame. We all know this happens constantly, but normally we cannot sort out what is false flag from a real event.

False flags in America are rampant with some people scrawling racial slurs or pretending to be attacked by whites, arson said to be from "white supremacists," etc. People get caught doing this constantly.

Heck, Germany invaded Poland after doing a false flag on Poland.

We all know false flags happen constantly. And most of us are smart enough to realize these comfort women statues are part of a huge information campaign.

Notice the video embedded in this article. Does it seem strange to you there is a night video camera dedicated just to this scam statue? By the way, I have been exactly in that spot listening the the Korean scammers selling the fake story.

Notice the busy schedule and fundraising. Some other statues I visited were similar. They are used for fundraising. They are moneymaking franchises.

中国の問題が拡大：先ほどもらった、ある友人からメモ

「中国が米国の大豆と豚肉への課税を取り下げたという今日のニュースについて、世間は全く注目していない」

たしかにそのとおりです。。。

まず第一に大豆と豚肉は重要なタンパク源で、その調達は全ての国にとって常に頭の痛い問題ですが、中国にとっての重要度はその比ではありません。野菜を中心とした食事の習慣と豚肉を食べることがある種の威信を醸すことを念頭に置くと（中流階級は夕食に豚肉を週に何度食べたかで豊かさを計られ、村人は豚肉を儀式に使います）、中国国民のタンパク源は大豆と豚肉に限られています（もちろん魚も一般的ですが、大豆や豚肉ほど容易に入手可能というわけではありません）。

第二にこれらを課税対象から外すことで、中国は国内消費のための十分なタンパク源、つまり大豆も豚肉も一般的でしかも豚肉は好まれる肉なのですが、自前で生産できないことを認めてしまいました。考えてもみてください、もしも米国がコーンや牛肉も手に入らず小麦とチキンが不足したらどうなるでしょうか、一千万人もの大都市をいくつも抱え、耕作に適した土地はいまや三分の一だとしたら。それが中国です。

では、いったい中国の農業の何が問題なのでしょう？　基本的に中国には国内で必要とするだけの大豆を育てるための土地がありません。しかも養豚は普及していますが大規模な感染で、防ぐことが事実上困難とみられる豚風邪（豚コレラなど）によって壊滅状態にあります。中国の豚のおよそ 60% が豚風邪に感染していると見られています。

このわるい状況をさらに悪化させることに、中国の役人は豚風邪の蔓延を阻止するために検疫を強制する能力がありませんし、はびこった不正で腐りきっています。

一見、これらは防衛あるいは軍事とあまり関係の無いことのように見えますが、実は共産主義者（レッドアーミー）を支える経済的で組織的な文民サポートシステムに関する洞察を与え、かつ中国の軍事と政府に固有の構造的および組織的な状態について示唆を与える出来事であると私は見ています。

食糧供給危機における中国の反応を注意深く研究し、その結果を軍事に応用し、彼らがストレス下でどうするのか、どのような資源を展開するのか、どのように反応を組織するのか理解することでさまざまな重要な結論を導くことができるでしょう。

”There is a tiny, tiny notice in the news today that China has backed off on its tariffs on US soy and pork.

Ya don't say...

First of all, soy and pork are protein, which is a chronic problem in all national food chains, but more so in China. Between their traditional plant based diet and the cultural prestige of eating pork (the middle class literally measures its affluence by how many nights a week they eat pork and the lower classes and villages use pork as a celebratory meal), China's protein consumption is very narrowly restricted to soy and pork (fish is common, but not nearly as available as soy and pork).

Second, by lifting the tariffs, China has just admitted it cannot produce enough protein for national consumption, both as a staple or as a preferred meat. Imagine a US shortage of wheat and chicken, with no real access to corn or beef, and a couple dozen urban areas of 20 millions or more with just a third arable land as now. That's China.

So, what's the problem with China's agricultural industry? Basically, they simply do not have enough land to grow the volume of soy they need; and, their pork production is highly diffused and is ravaged by a massive and seemingly uncontrollable swine flu epidemic. In fact, it is estimated that up to 60% of China's pigs are infected with the flu.

To compound a bad situation to worse, Chinese officials are both incapable of enforcing a quarantine and too corrupt to stop the spread of the flu.

While this seems to have little to do with defense or military matters, I would suggest it is a huge red shift event offering insights into both the underlying economic and organizational civilian support system of the Red Army and suggestive of a wider indigenous structural and organizational condition of the military and government writ large.

I believe we can draw significant conclusions from closely studying China's responses to this food supply crisis and extrapolating our observations to the military to understand what they do under stressful conditions, what resources they deploy, and how they organize their response. Not to mention, how the civilian population responds to the military's demands.

“Stipulated: The food supply chain is in fact a national security issue and it is a function of the military's most basic needs. A lot can be learned by studying this issue.”
