Hong Kong Police shoot 14 year-old boy then arrest him — you are probably thinking there must be more to the story. There is. The deeper you dig, the more you realize the Hong Kong government is setting conditions for violent insurgency.
The government already has told Hong Kongers the equivalent of “you are either with us or against us.” The government has set the table for civil war.
Write this down: conditions for civil war are set.
The police are now widely seen as illegitimate and the equivalent of an occupying force under Beijing’s control.
All conditions are set for kickoff from low grade insurgency that simmers this morning, to widespread sabotage, and to assassinations and so on and so forth.
War is in the air. The people will begin to take control from police. Write that down.
